Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time role supporting young learners in a dynamic preschool environment. This contract opportunity focuses on working with a preschool student in both an intensive needs setting and a general education classroom, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact each day. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral-based interventions within school settings, particularly as a paraprofessional, and experience or training in ABA.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a paraprofessional, especially with SPED populations ABA training or practical ABA experience required Background in behavioral support within schools High school diploma required Capability to provide at least one completed professional reference Comfortable adapting to classroom or schedule changes as necessary Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality Ability to complete required district fingerprints and onboarding procedures Flexible and collaborative team player
Responsibilities:
Support a preschool student within intensive needs and general education classrooms Apply ABA techniques to assist with behavioral interventions and promote student progress Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment Adapt to shifting classroom assignments when needed Support students' social, emotional, and academic development throughout the school day This is a part-time, Monday through Thursday position, totaling 26 hours per week, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM. The assignment will continue through June 17, 2026, making it a fantastic opportunity for those seeking consistency in their schedule.
