TITLE:
Administrative Assistant to the Special Education Director
REPORTS TO
Special Education Director Haverhill Cooperative School District is seeking an energetic, organized, and highly motivated individual to join our Special Education Team
General Definition of Work:
  • To assist the Special Education Director in all aspects of administering the District Special Education Program, performing a wide variety of highly independent, confidential, and complex secretarial, clerical, and administrative support services.
  • To contribute to the effective, efficient and organized operations of the Central Office including: Purchase Orders and Requisitions, Budgets and Planning, State Reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Great organizational skills and an ability to be flexible
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize needs and maintain composure under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with special education regulations, compliance requirements and Medicaid to Schools
  • Ability to work independently & assume responsibility
  • Meet deadlines
  • General knowledge of office equipment and procedures and programs such as Excel, Tyler/IVEE
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Associates Degree preferred or equivalent 3 to 5 years relevant work experience
