Job Description

The NH Mountain Cats Academy AAA Women's Hockey Program is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Coach & Dorm Supervisor to support the development of elite female student-athletes both on and off the ice. This is a unique opportunity to grow within a high-performance environment while mentoring players pursuing NCAA hockey opportunities. Position Overview Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to deliver a competitive and development-focused hockey program while also serving as a dorm supervisor, supporting players in a structured residential setting. Key Responsibilities Coaching & Player Development Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the program, including: On-ice instruction Player development Video analysis Game strategy Recruitment efforts Provide individualized skill instruction and constructive feedback Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-first culture Support student-athletes' academic success and personal development Player Support & Supervision Serve as a dorm supervisor, living on campus with players Monitor player safety, well-being, and daily routines Help athletes adjust to independent living Encourage accountability, cleanliness, and attention to detail Logistics Transport players to games, school, and tournaments as needed Qualifications 1-2 years of coaching experience preferred (youth or junior level), but not required Previous playing experience required Strong understanding of player development principles Passion for mentoring and developing young athletes Desire to grow into a future Head Coaching role Compensation & Benefits Competitive Wage Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) option Room and board included

Coaches and players reside at NHTI (Concord's Community College), providing a structured, community-based living environment
