Part-Time Instructor Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:15am-1:45pm
Locations:
Cherry Hill, NJ (Primary) University City, Philadelphia, PA (3600 Market Street, as needed) North Philadelphia, PA (2800 N. American Street, as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to lead our accelerated Clinical Medical Assistant class, which includes phlebotomy and EKG training. In this role, you will deliver engaging and effective instruction across classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings. You will help students build critical skills, foster professional development, and prepare them for successful healthcare careers. Your dedication to student success will be key in motivating learners to achieve their educational and career goals.

Program Director Duties and Responsibilities:
Delivers instruction within the syllabus for each course assigned. Teaches the depth and scope of class materials as outlined in the syllabus and catalog and relates the instruction to career and employer expectations. Prepares and grades examinations and lab check-offs based upon course objectives and published exam schedule and returns all assignments in a timely manner. Works creatively in all classes taught to motivate students towards an exceptional learning experience using methods that demonstrate an understanding of various learning styles. Begins and ends each class at the designated times, providing a full period of instruction. Leaves the classroom or laboratory clean, organized, and ready for the next user. Accurately maintains attendance records in accordance with the Attendance Policy. Attends in-service meetings, graduation, and other related events. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills Ability to evaluate and implement curriculum, testing, and/or teaching methodologies. Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments on sensitive, confidential issues. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a productive learning environment. Knowledge of academic and/or vocational education curricula. Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques.
Qualifications:
Currently certified as a clinical Medical Assistant Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant within the past 10 years Proof of successful completion of a curriculum and instruction course offered through an accredited college Experience with phlebotomy &
EKG Minimum Job Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred. Medical Assistant coursework includes the following content areas: clinical skills, pharmacology, medical billing and coding, medical records, human resources, medical administration, anatomy and physiology, and pathology.
