Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
At K&G Career Academy, we're committed to providing affordable, high-quality, and hands-on healthcare training that empowers students to succeed in meaningful careers. We pride ourselves on small class sizes, one-on-one support, and an encouraging learning environment. We are currently seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) Instructor who brings both technical expertise and compassion into the classroom. The ideal candidate is a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for teaching and preparing the next generation of caregivers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your responsibilities will include: Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with approved curriculum for Home Health Aide training programs Monitor student attendance, performance, and classroom participation Provide clear assessments and constructive feedback to ensure student success Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and course materials Maintain compliance with state regulations and K&G Career Academy standards Offer tutoring, mentoring, and academic counseling as needed Create a supportive and professional classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Qualifications:
Valid NJ Registered Nurse (RN) (required by state regulations for HHA instructors) Prior teaching or training experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) preferred, but not required Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation:
$30 - $35 per hour
Job Type :
Part-Time, Independent Contractor (1099)
