Assistant Teacher/Floater

Assistant Teacher / Floater (Ages 20 Months-6 Years) Join a team where you're supported, valued, and part of something meaningful every day. We are a NAEYC-accredited, play-based, family-centered child care center seeking a nurturing, energetic, and flexible Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our welcoming team. What You'll Do:

Support lead teachers in classrooms serving children ages 20 months through 6 years Float between classrooms to maintain quality care and consistency Help create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers Assist with daily routines, transitions, and classroom organization

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma required CDA or AA/BA in Early Childhood Education (preferred) A warm, patient, and dependable approach with children Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset Strong communication and collaboration skills

Position Details:

Full-time, year-round position Monday-Friday (no weekends), 35-40 hours per week

Pay:

$16.00-$18.00 per hour (based on experience and education)
