Job Description

Job Overview Join the Hudson Children's Academy team as an Assistant Teacher! In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and guiding young children (infants - Pre-k) during their formative years. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and hygiene practices in accordance with health guidelines Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Observe children's progress and communicate any developmental concerns to the lead teacher or parents Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs Skills Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet flexible learning environment Ability to perform first aid and CPR to ensure child safety at all times Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and implementing inclusive activities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents Passion for caregiving, nurturing young minds, and supporting diverse learning needs This position is ideal for energetic individuals eager to foster growth in young children while developing their professional expertise in early childhood education. Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
