Westampton Campus Position Summary:
BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will support classroom instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics, assisting teachers in delivering effective lessons and supporting student learning. Experience working with young adults is preferred.
Qualifications:
High School diploma and one of the following: Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning Associate's degree (or higher) Meeting rigorous standards through formal assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction or readiness (Para Professional Praxis Exam) Knowledge of appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities Strong oral and written communication skills Experience working with young adults preferred
Salary & Benefits:
In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $29,766 � $36,851 This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a retirement plan, and benefits that support work-life balance.
