In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Support children with daily routines, including meal times, diapering, potty training, and nap schedules, ensuring a caring and hygienic environment. Engage with children through play, educational activities, and behavioral guidance to encourage positive social interactions and behavior management. Monitor classroom safety and cleanliness, adhering to health and safety regulations such as first aid procedures when necessary. Collaborate with team members to observe and document each child's progress, providing feedback to support individualized learning plans. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing consistent discipline strategies and fostering a respectful environment. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar roles is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities. Ability to work effectively with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with diverse needs.
