Elementary School Educational Assistant

Overview The Educational Assistant (EA) plays a crucial role in supporting educators and students in the elementary setting. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about childhood development and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs. The EA will work closely with teachers to implement lesson plans, manage classroom behavior, and provide individualized support to students. Duties Assist in the development and implementation of lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of students, including those with special educational requirements. Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective instruction across various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators regarding individual learning goals and challenges. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Skills Knowledgeable in special education practices and principles, particularly related to behavior management. Experience working with elementary aged children or in childhood education settings. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
