This individual will be responsible for organizing activities with children in accordance with the curriculum as prepared by the head teacher (singing, reading stories and other language arts, assisting with other developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day). Other duties as assigned (examples: cleaning, organizing environment, interacting with the children in various activities to include but not limited to spontaneous reading, word play, navigating and problem-solving social interactions, assisting in conflict resolution, maintaining the safety of the environment, etc.)Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
TB test is required upon hire Initial training to be completed within 90 days of employment: CPR, First Aid, Symptoms of Illness, Child Abuse and Neglect, SIDS, etc.Preferred Qualifications:
ECE degree, classes in early childhood preferred, but not required Experience in child care preferred, but not requiredStudent Employment Eligibility:
Fall & Spring Semester Eligibility Enrollment in at least 6 credits each regular semester; and Be in a degree seeking program; and Meet allSatisfactory Academic Progress Requirements:
67% completion rate in the last enrolled semester 67% cumulative completion rate 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale Have not exceeded the maximum number of credits allowed (90) or received two degrees OR be on an approved appeal and on probation with an Academic Plan; and Be authorized to work in the United States Summer Eligibility - Students are eligible to work during the summer if they meet the following criteria: Enrolled in at least 6 summer credits; or Successfully have completed the spring semester and enrolled in the required 6 credits for the fall semester (summer enrollment in this case is not required); and Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements listed previously; and Be authorized to work in the United States Changes in Student Eligibility Continued employment is contingent on maintaining eligibility. If a student's eligibility changes their role may be subject to termination and/or they may be temporarily required to remain off work. If students' eligibility is on hold pending the results of an appeal, students are required to remain off work until the appeal has been satisfactorily resolved.Work Study Required:

Student Employee - Level 1 $12-$15 an hour Schedule Scheduled and available hours may vary and are subject to change based on organizational needs.
