Job Description

The Westchester School for Medical/Dental Assistants is a dedicated career school committed to preparing students for successful careers in healthcare. Located in Ardsley, NY we focus on delivering comprehensive training that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to ensure student success. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Medical Assistant Instructor (Evening) to join our dynamic teaching team. In this role, you will deliver engaging instruction to adult learners in our evening classes, focusing on medical assisting skills, clinical procedures, and healthcare terminology. Your expertise will inspire students to excel and prepare them for real-world medical environments, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive classroom instruction on medical assisting topics such as medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, patient care, and clinical procedures Supervise students during practical lab sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and clinical standards Review documentation related to clinical research, trials, and patient records for accuracy and compliance Evaluate student performance through assessments, assignments, and classroom participation Foster a positive learning environment by engaging students with adult education techniques and hands-on activities Requirements +2 years Medical assisting experience-Required +1 Prior teaching experience- preferred Positive Attitude Computer literate Self-Motivated Innovative Energetic Join us to make a meaningful impact by shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals!
