Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher

Bright Start Child Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Infant & Toddler Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development, enjoys working collaboratively, and is committed to helping young children learn and grow through play, exploration, and positive relationships. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Supervise and engage with infants and toddlers during play, meals, diapering, and nap times Foster positive interactions and model appropriate behavior Communicate professionally with parents and team members Follow all center policies, health regulations, and safety procedures Help prepare learning materials and classroom activities Maintain accurate records as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred

CDA, ECE
