Daycare Assistant Teacher

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Daycare Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging educational activities, ensuring the well-being of children from infants to preschoolers, and fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. Duties Assist in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and classroom engagement Support children with their activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, storytime, and learning exercises Ensure the safety and well-being of children by supervising their activities closely and maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment Help with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs for infants and toddlers Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor developmental milestones and communicate observations to parents or guardians Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with classroom setup and cleanup to ensure a welcoming space for all children Requirements Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and their families Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods; physical stamina to support active play and caregiving tasks Passion for working with children and commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a caring environment Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners!
