We are seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Infant teacher who enjoys working with young children and supporting a positive, nurturing classroom environment. The Assistant Infant Teacher will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily routines, assist with activities, and help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in creating and maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Support implementation of age-appropriate activities and daily routines Help maintain consistent routines for diapering, meals, naps, and play Ensure proper supervision and safety at all times Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members Assist with monitoring and documenting children's daily activities as needed Follow all OCFS regulations and center policies Support classroom organization and cleanliness throughout the day Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and other staff Qualifications Previous experience in a child care setting Interest in early childhood education and child development CDA certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Reliable, responsible, patient, and positive attitude Passion for working with young children and supporting their developmentSimilar jobs in Ballston Spa, NY
