As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and professional development.
Duties:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide support to students with special education needs or early intervention requirements
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist in the supervision and management of students during classroom activities
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging lesson plans and educational materials
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by the lead teacher
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents/guardians
