Job Summary:

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Teachers and Teacher Assistants to join our growing childcare team. Lead Teachers will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for children in our care, while Teacher Assistants will support the teachers and help provide a safe, engaging, and fun learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Teachers:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and intellectual development. Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times. Observe, assess, and document children's progress and milestones. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and behavior. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive team environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.

Teacher Assistants:

Support Lead Teachers in implementing daily activities and lesson plans. Assist in monitoring children and providing guidance as needed. Ensure children's safety and engage in positive interactions. Help with classroom organization, cleaning, and preparing materials. Participate in group activities and assist in managing transitions. Assist in observing and documenting children's progress. Follow class routine when Lead is not in the room.

Qualifications:

Lead Teachers:

Experience with children CDA, Early Childhood Education associates degree or related field (preferred). Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development. CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain certification). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Teacher Assistants:

Previous experience working with young children (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in early childhood education is a plus).
