Assistant Teacher - Home Daycare

Overview Little Sunflowers Child Care is seeking a reliable, nurturing, and responsible Full-Time Assistant Teacher to join our Group Family Daycare located in the village of Cobleskill, NY. We are a small, home-based program that takes pride in providing a safe, structured, and loving environment where children can learn, play, and grow. We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. This is a full-time position with a consistent weekday schedule , ideal for someone looking for a stable role in a positive and supportive childcare environment. regulations Support a structured daily schedule while remaining responsive to children's needs Use positive guidance techniques to support children's social and emotional development Communicate respectfully and professionally with the provider, children, and families Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Assist with general daily tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing activities Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass all required
