Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Preschool Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational learning in preschoolers. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines and activities. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and early learning skills. Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Work closely with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities, to ensure inclusive participation. Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to support individual development goals. Contribute to curriculum development efforts aligned with Montessori or other early childhood philosophies. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education practices is essential. Experience with special education strategies, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Classroom experience involving lesson planning for literacy education, math fundamentals, and toddler care enhances your candidacy. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are crucial for success in this role. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
