Full Job Description Job Description:
We are looking for a caring and responsible After-School Teacher/Assistant to work with students in grades K-5 . This position involves picking up children from school and providing them with a safe, engaging, and supportive after-school environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is creative, and has strong communication skills. If you love helping kids learn and have a warm, friendly personality, we'd love to have you join our team!
Responsibilities:
Pick up children safely from nearby schools and bring them to the center. Supervise students during after-school hours (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM). Provide homework help and support academic development. Lead English reading activities and storytelling sessions . Plan or assist with arts & crafts , hands-on projects , or creative play . Create a positive, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment. Communicate effectively with staff and parents as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive your own car for school pick-ups. Enjoy working with children in grades K-5. Friendly, patient, and approachable personality. Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently. Experience in childcare, teaching, or arts-related activities is a plus.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Part-time)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
