Job Description
The Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca is seeking a teacher assistant who will support our 9 to 12-year-old classrooms for the 26-27 school year. Ideal candidates have experience teaching children, preferably in a school setting. They have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are flexible, tolerant, and collaborative. A 4-year college degree is required for this position. The Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca, a private, not-for-profit school serving students from 3 to 15 years old, is seeking creative, energetic, and collaborative educators who have a passion for learning along with their students and growing with us. Nestled in the hills surrounding Cayuga Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country, Ithaca is home to Apple festivals, a fabulous Farmers Market, Cornell University, Ithaca College, and arts and cultural events that rival those of many large cities.
