In this dynamic role, you will provide essential support to lead teachers and create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children of various ages. As a floater, you will have the opportunity to work across different classrooms, gaining diverse experience in early childhood development and childcare. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive growth and development for every child you serve. This paid position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while building your skills in education and caregiving. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being Support children during activities such as playtime, meal times, naptime, and learning exercises, ensuring their safety and engagement Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Provide attentive toddler and infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Collaborate with team members to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies Support classroom management by supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities Adapt to different classrooms as needed, providing flexible support across age groups including preschoolers and children with special needs Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Certification or training in first aid and CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage positively with children and families Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism Passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through caregiving, teaching, and behavior management techniques Join us in creating a joyful learning space where every child feels valued!
