Position Title Teaching Assistant (Behavioral Support)- ESY Required Application Type Teacher / Admin Job Description

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR

(ESY) 2026 July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026 TEACHING

ASSISTANT

(3) Behavioral Support Provide direct support to students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), accommodations, and support strategies as directed by special education staff and related service providers. Assist students in maintaining appropriate behavior in classroom, community-based, and recreational settings. Utilize positive behavior supports, reinforcement systems, and de-escalation techniques to promote student success. Assist with supervision and safety of students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school-related activities. Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, therapists, and other staff members to ensure consistent implementation of student support plans.
