Job Description
Staffing Specialist Position Summary The Staffing Specialist - Paraprofessional Services is responsible for the case placement and ongoing management of Paraprofessional cases across in-district settings. This role plays a critical part in ensuring students receive consistent, high-quality support by overseeing Paraprofessional assignments, maintaining strong provider engagement, and ensuring timely and accurate case placement. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of cases while maintaining compliance and quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Staff and manage Paraprofessional cases for in-district and home-based services in accordance with service timelines and student needs Oversee and support current Paraprofessional providers, including placement, reassignment, and ongoing engagement Match provider availability, experience, and geographic location to student and district needs Maintain real-time awareness of open Paraprofessional cases and prioritize staffing based on urgency, compliance requirements, and service start dates Build and maintain professional relationships with Paraprofessional providers to support retention and consistent service delivery Accurately document staffing activity, provider communications, and placement status in the Blue Sea Operating System (BOS) Support provider retention by maintaining consistent communication and addressing placement concerns in a timely manner Required Skills & Competencies Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly related to placement and compliance Strong organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills Clear, professional written and verbal communication Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Commitment to quality, accountability, and student-centered outcomes Preferred Experience working with or staffing Paraprofessionals Experience in a school or agency setting
