Job Description

Summer Program Aide, Syracuse Eastside Family Resource Center (part-time, seasonal)
LOCATION
202 South Beech Street, Syracuse
REPORTS TO
Family and Youth Services Manager
SCHEDULE
June 29 thru July 30, Mondays thru Thursdays, 7 hours per day
STARTING PAY RANGE
$19.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
A valid NYS driver license and experience working with school-age children.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in collaboration with the center manager or program supervisor, provide coordination, organization, and execution of all aspects of the program. Create and execute a youth-appropriate, innovative curriculum. Provide youth development for enrolled children. Maintain student outcomes, and record program activities and participation in the program. Input progress into local and state databases. Develop and maintain a resource directory for youth and human services available in Onondaga County. Work with children in the community to teach them about environmental safety. Transport teens and young adults participating in a summer work assistance program to and from their work locations using a van provided by the agency as directed. Make pick-ups of items for the summer program as required.
