DUTIES:
Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program at Sunshine Children's Home & Rehabilitation Center in Ossining for students with disabilities from July 1, 2026 through August 11, 2026. Teaching Assistant candidates are needed are needed to assist classroom teacher in the instruction and management of students.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid New York State Education Department Teaching Assistant certificate.
CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED
Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with multiple disabilities, including those with complex medical needs. Must be driven, organized and have the ability to positively manage students. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
