OhioSTS.org More Information Via phone at 216.446.6787 Via email at Key Responsibilities Support teachers with classroom instruction and academic programming Work one-on-one or in small groups with students Reinforce lessons and assist with remedial or enrichment activities Provide supervision throughout the school day (classroom, lunch, transitions, field trips) Assist with classroom setup, materials preparation, and recordkeeping Implement behavior plans and provide student-specific accommodations Support student independence and engagement Requirements Ability to obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement (or a Substitute Teacher License) Willingness to complete required training Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Dependability, flexibility, and professional integrity Applicants must pass a background check that allows for public school employment, verified through FBI and BCI background checks dated within 365 days of hire.
