Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities that promote early childhood education and childhood development. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment. Help supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods, ensuring safety at all times. Support the implementation of camp programs, walking trips, special events, and childcare routines as needed. Maintain open communication with teachers, parents, and staff regarding student progress and behavior management strategies. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or camp settings is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, children, and parents. Enthusiasm for engaging children through experiential learning and exploration.
