EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TEACHER WHO WE ARE
The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality, age appropriate curriculum that encourages development, curiosity, imagination, and self-esteem. The school is available for children ages 6 weeks - 5 years old. Our child care program is open to everyone regardless of race, religion, or ability, and features a low child-teacher ratio. Positions available in multiple age groups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation, learning, and fun. Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use. Create a warm, fun and nurturing environment. Maintain a clean and safe classroom. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards. Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed. Be highly mobile and physically able to easily engage in activities like standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and sitting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus. Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications; Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training a plus Attend mandatory professional development sessions, teacher meetings and family events. Schedule Monday-Friday Year-Round
