August 2026 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting the lead teacher in developing a positive and structured classroom environment that engages students and motivates them to succeed; Assuming responsibility for the academic progress of students with a high sense of urgency and ownership towards quantifiable results; Working with students in small groups and one-on-one settings; Fulfilling the school's mission to educate the whole child, mind, body, and spirit; Taking accountability for student learning and for meeting classroom performance goals; Participating in ongoing professional developments sessions to grow as an educator The ideal candidate will have: A deep respect for and commitment to preserving and building upon the legacy of urban Catholic education; A sense of joy that contributes to the warmth of an elementary classroom; An uncompromising belief that all students can learn; A relentless work ethic and a high degree of patience to push through difficult challenges; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers both school-wide and across the network; Knowledge of best practices and proven pedagogical techniques in urban education; A willingness to be reflective and receive feedback in order to grow as an educator; Technological proficiency and adaptability; Excellent communication skills; Flexibility to multi-task, coupled with the ability to set priorities and follow through with results; Relentlessness and willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure success
Position Requirements:
