In this role, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children in their formative years. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Duties Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum development tailored to toddlers' developmental stages, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respectful behavior among children. Help with daily toddler care routines such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene to ensure comfort and safety. Engage children in interactive activities that promote childhood development, early intervention strategies, and social skills. Collaborate with lead teachers to plan lesson plans that incorporate classroom experience, standardized testing preparation, and individualized learning goals. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations and assessments aligned with early childhood education standards. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's milestones, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for toddlers. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention practices. Experience with curriculum development that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is advantageous. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Classroom experience involving lesson planning, teaching physical education activities, or tutoring young children will be considered a plus. Demonstrated understanding of child welfare practices and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment for toddlers.
