Full Job Description Preschool Teacher Aide Job Description Objective:

To assist the classroom teacher in creating a positive, organized, and effective learning environment while supporting students' academic, social, and spiritual growth. We are looking for someone to fill Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8.15am - 11.45am and Tuesday/Thursday from 8.15am - 11.15am = 16.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Classroom Support:

Assist with preparing and organizing teaching materials, maintaining a clean and orderly classroom, and setting up for activities and lessons.

Student Assistance :

Help individual or small groups of students during lessons, providing guidance and support under the teacher's direction.

Behavioral Support:

Monitor students during class activities, offering encouragement, addressing disruptions, and ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment.

Administrative Tasks:

Handle tasks like managing supplies, and creating displays or bulletin boards to reduce the teacher's workload.

Supervision Duties:

Assist during transitions, ensuring students are safe and engaged in positive activities.

Communication:

Relay feedback to the teacher about students' progress, behavior, or any challenges observed.

Faith Integration:

Support and encourage spiritual development by assisting with faith-based lessons and modeling Christian values.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma Patience, positivity, and excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility and willingness to take on various tasks. Strong organizational and communication abilities.
