LOCATION
Fairfield Township Campus – 1 position Travelling (West Chester, Monroe, Advanced Manufacturing, and/or Aviation) – 1 position |
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ELL Instructional Aide helps students achieve their greatest potential by providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibilities for assisting the facilitation of students' English language acquisition; administering tests; performing classroom clerical tasks; and serving as a resource to support communication among non-English speaking students, parents, and community members with school personnel. |
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma. Some college or college degree in related area preferred; Current or willing and able to obtain an Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide permit; Experience working directly in small groups or one on one with adolescents and/or reinforcing learning concepts and English language development preferred; Willingness and ability to acquire task specific knowledge required for administration of tests and documentation of student performance; Proven ability to develop positive working relationships with students, peers and administration; Proven organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks with better than average attention to detail; Computer expertise appropriate to the position; Valid drivers' license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance; History of good job attendance; and Must pass criminal background check. |
STARTING DATE
August 2026 | SALARY $20.38 – 24.48/hour ($30,814 – 37,013/year) |
