Functional Classroom Assistant

Full job description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Functional Classroom Aide to join on educational team. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students, particularly those in special education settings. Duties Support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum development and lesson planning. Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized support to students, especially those requiring special education services. Facilitate activities that promote social skills and academic achievement, particularly in math and other core subjects. Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher regarding student behavior and performance. Experience Previous experience in a classroom setting is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning is beneficial. Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Pay:
