Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist lead teachers, and ensure a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children of various ages. As a floater, you will have the opportunity to work across different classrooms, gaining diverse experience in early childhood education and childcare. This paid position offers a chance to make a positive impact on young learners' development while building your skills in teaching, caregiving, and classroom management. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote childhood development and early learning skills. Support children with activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Provide attentive supervision during playtime, mealtime, nap time, and other daily routines to ensure safety and well-being. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Support classroom management strategies to encourage positive behavior and respectful interactions among children. Float between classrooms as needed to cover staff absences or assist with special projects, ensuring continuity of care and instruction. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary, to create a secure environment for children. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage positively with children and families. Pay:
$11.65 - $13.05 per hour
