Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Martial Art Instructor / Front Desk Assistant, where you will inspire students of all ages to develop their martial arts skills while providing exceptional front desk support. This energetic role combines teaching martial arts techniques with welcoming and assisting members and visitors, creating a positive and motivating environment. You'll have the opportunity to share your passion for martial arts, sports coaching, and physical education while ensuring smooth daily operations at our health club or sports facility. Responsibilities Assisting martial arts classes, that include age groups from 3 - 65yrs old Attending leadership classes to learn target holding, form technique, student behavior handling, and client engagement Manage front desk operations by greeting members and visitors warmly, answering inquiries, and handling registrations or membership questions Support behavior management during classes to foster a respectful and disciplined environment Maintain safety standards by supervising activities, ensuring proper use of equipment, and adhering to health protocols Assist in organizing special events or workshops related to martial arts or sports coaching programs Keep accurate records of class attendance, student progress, and incident reports as needed Qualifications No prior martial art experience is needed Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners effectively Ability to manage behavior positively while maintaining safety standards during activities A confident personality and demeanor will be necessary to adequately lead small groups of students and interact with student parents.
