Retirement Options, Paid Training, Paid Time Off, Vacation, & much more Dale Rogers Training Center (DRTC) is seeking a compassionate and dependable CLE Program Assistant to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence through daily living skills and vocational training. This role provides direct support, implements individualized goals, and ensures a safe, engaging, and professional program environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide continual supervision and ensure the safety of all individuals Implement activities and training aligned with Individualized Plans (IPs) and monthly schedules Provide one‑on‑one training and oversight of small group activities Serve as first‑level intervention for minor behavioral concerns and document appropriately Complete daily Individual Activity Chart forms and other required documentation Drive agency vehicles for community outings and activities Assist individuals with eating, lunch preparation, and bathroom needs while promoting independence Perform lifting and transfers as identified in the IP (including one‑person and two‑person lifts) Assist individuals with walking or navigating their environment, including wheelchair support Orient new individuals to the program as assigned Maintain accurate attendance forms, work tickets, and incident reports Engage individuals daily to encourage participation in activities Perform life‑saving measures when certified and required Other duties as assigned based on program needs
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred CNA experience preferred but not required Strong communication, organization, and planning skills Ability to adapt to changing program needs and work settings High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Valid Oklahoma Driver's License Ability to pass
OSBI, MVR, DHS
Registry Check, and other required background screenings Ability to pass bi‑annual motor vehicle report checks Ability to make quick and logical decisions Ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs vertically / 25 lbs horizontally Ability to perform CPR, First Aid, AED use, and Heimlich maneuver (training provided) Ability to perform required transfers, including:
  • Two‑person lift of up to 120 lbs.
  • One‑person lift/transfer of approx. 75 lbs.
  • One‑person transfer of individuals up to approx.
