Elementary Required:
two years of college (minimum 72 credits in academic coursework), Associates Degree or higher, or pass the Highly Qualified exam.
Please note:
Bilingual preferred but not required. This position includes 4.25 permanent hours per day and 2.25 temporary hours per day . The temporary portion of the assignment is scheduled to end at the close of the 20262027 school year , after which only the 4.25 permanent hours will remain.
Position Overview:
Under direct teacher supervision, performs a variety of tasks assisting a teacher in the development of an instructional program by working with students individually or in small groups. Prepares instructional materials, maintains classroom discipline, and conducts planned activities using teacher designated methods and materials. In addition, provides assistance for the physically and intellectually disabled, learning disabled, emotionally disturbed, etc.
