Min Hourly Rate $15.05 (Standard); $14.05 (Non-Urban); $16.30 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $17.50 (Standard); $17.00 (Non-Urban); $18.50 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) BA 354 Teaching Assistant for the School of Entrepreneurship, Management, and Logistics at Oregon State University ( OSU ). TA will assist the instructor in carious tasks to support student learning in BA 354. Pay rate for this position is $16.05 per hour. Position Duties Duties are expected to include answering inquiries from students, grading student assignments and other administrative support for the classroom. 9 credit hours per term•International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered "full-time" by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services ( USCIS ). Additional Required Qualifications Students must have taken BA 354 or BA 354H and passed with an A- or higher. String writing and editing skills and required. This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a Criminal History Check and be determined to be position qualified as per OSU Standard 576-055-0000 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in Youth Programs may have additional Criminal History Checks every 2 years. Preferred (Special) Qualifications Willingness to engage with students Working Conditions / Work Schedule Up to 4 hours per week, flexible and may be done remotely.
