We have created nurturing communities for the holistic development of toddlers and preschoolers, where we view childhood with deep respect and trust nature's developmental course. We are now interviewing for an assistant in our toddler environment (9-3 M-F), to start. Start the new school year with a new job in this sweet, nurturing community by joining the team of three staff members already in this classroom. Training hours would start in the summer. The assistant would have the support of our classroom guide and the other staff in regards to activities and engagement with the children. Mentoring as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in Montessori training, and/or ECE credits, and be bilingual in Spanish and English, but these are not requirements. However, experience working with children is a must; experience with toddlers is preferred. Candidates with the ability to play an instrument and/or enjoy singing, or who enjoy working with art materials are encouraged to apply.
