Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for our youngest learners. In this role, you will work closely with lead teachers to support daily classroom activities, promote developmental milestones, and ensure each child's safety and well-being. Your energy and passion for working with children will contribute to creating a positive foundation for lifelong learning. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on literacy, math, and early childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for toddlers. Engage children in educational activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth. Help with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and outdoor play to ensure comfort and safety. Foster inclusive learning experiences by working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities. Support curriculum development efforts aligned with Montessori or other early childhood education philosophies. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative and transparent atmosphere. Experience Prior experience working in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices. Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with special education approaches, including working with individuals with autism or disabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with young children. Previous involvement in lesson planning related to literacy education, math concepts, or curriculum development is advantageous.
