  • $15 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Behavior management Childcare Substitute Teaching Certification Management Teaching Certification Curriculum design Classroom behavior modification Working with children Curriculum implementation Toddler care Behavioral support plan implementation Child Development Associate Certification Full Job Description Hillcrest Christian Academy is seeking a teacher's aide to assist classroom teachers in the instructional process, reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment.
In addition, they will assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans and provide routine support. Assistance will be given to students with academic and/or physical needs in order for students to access the educational environment. Duties included but not limited to:
  • Provide care and supervision for toddlers in our early education setting
  • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills
  • Assist with curriculum development and planning age-appropriate activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with toddlers or in a daycare/preschool setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and age-appropriate activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
