Instructional Support Teacher Hillcrest Christian Academy - 3.0 Bethel Park, PA Job Details Full-time $30,000 - $32,000 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications English Math Working with middle schoolers Working with students Organizational skills Full Job Description The Instructional Support Teacher provides targeted academic and social/emotional support to students in both elementary and middle school settings. This position focuses on helping students develop foundational academic skills, emotional regulation strategies, and positive behaviors that support success in the general education environment.
Key Responsibilities Elementary Social/Emotional Support:
Provide direct instruction in social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies Support students in recognizing and managing emotions appropriately Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor student progress Facilitate small group and individual sessions focused on self-regulation and peer interactions Collaborate with teachers to support students within the classroom setting Provide sensory breaks and structured support throughout the school day Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform instruction and interventions
Middle School Learning Support:
Deliver small group instruction in reading, writing, and math aligned with support plan goals Provide support in core academic subjects including literature, English, and math Adapt and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs Assist students with organization, study skills, and task completion Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and differentiation Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data Implement technology to enhance student learning and support modifications included in support plans Additional Duties Participate in the development and implementation of support plans Maintain accurate records of student progress and services Communicate regularly with families, staff, and related service providers Attend team meetings, support plan meetings, and professional development sessions Support a positive, inclusive school environment Special Education Degree Preferred.
Pay:
$30,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
