Assistant Teacher Bethlehem, PA | Part Time, Hourly; Shift Opportunities Available Monday-Friday 6am-6pm | $14.00

What is needed for this job High school diploma Associate/Bachelor degree or college credits from an accredited college or university in childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field preferred Are 21+ and have 2+ years of experience working with children in a professional, volunteer, or familial capacity Desire to work with Infants to Toddlers, ages 0-2 years Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment Ability to pass all relevant clearances The responsibilities we will trust you with: Finding new and engaging ways to help kids learn Being patient and kind with our parents Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program Adjusting curriculum to ensure that all children meet the learning objectives Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children What you can expect: Support from an amazing team Opportunities to learn & grow Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply.
