Day Program Assistant

Lifesteps is expanding services in Butler County and has an immediate need for multiple Program Aides in Butler, PA. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for 100 years by helping individuals and families with life's changing needs . POSITION SUMMARY

Have fun while you work and bring joy into the lives of the Day Program participants! The Day Program Assistant is responsible for assisting special needs adults with activities such as crafts, community outings and life skills. The Program Aide observes and reports on the accomplishments of participants, while maintaining a safe and clean environment, and also transports participants in the community using an Agency vehicle for learning, engagement and fun activities. This position works part-time with a s chedule of 8:30am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday•with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

High School Diploma/GED Current driver s license with the ability to travel utilizing an Agency vehicle Obtain and maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)•offered by Lifesteps First aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain and maintain within six (6) months•offered by

Lifesteps Preferred:
