Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Support children's developmental milestones through tailored activities in areas such as childhood development and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining organization, safety standards, and positive behavior management techniques. Engage with children during daily routines including playtime, meal periods, nap times, and educational activities like storytime or arts and crafts. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies suited to diverse learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and specific needs related to special education or child welfare. Assist in preparing for assessments such as standardized testing or progress evaluations to monitor each child's growth and learning outcomes. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or similar environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents or guardians. Ability to supervise and care for toddlers and young children while maintaining a nurturing environment. Experience with lesson planning, teaching physical education activities, tutoring in core subjects like math or reading, and working with students of varying developmental needs. Certification or training related to childhood development or early childhood education is a plus; Montessori training is desirable. Join us in shaping bright futures!
