Multi-Disabilities Support Description:
The LIU12 Multiple Disability program focuses on building academic and functional skills through research based practices and curriculums. Academic and functional skills learning is highly individualized based on the needs of each learner, and provides opportunities to build skills for students to become as independent as possible. At the secondary level, independent living skills are more targeted in order for students to have a successful transition from school to adult life.
Qualifications:
Valid PA Teaching Certification:
Special Education PK-12 or 7-12 Experience with students with special needs, (preferred)
Terms of Employment:
Full-Time, 190 days School Year (follows the traditional school year schedule)
Salary:
LIUEA Pay Scale Bachelor's minimum: $62,011.15 plus benefits
  • Masters minimum: (up to 44 credits) $63,511.15, plus benefits
