Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Support meaningful learning experiences for students and contribute to a positive classroom environment as a dedicated paraprofessional. Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to help students achieve their academic goals. This contract role requires enthusiasm, adaptability, and a genuine desire to make a daily impact in a school setting.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience working with children or within a school environment, particularly as a paraprofessional or assistant Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff Ability to assist with special education needs and adapt to various classroom dynamics Patient, compassionate, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced educational setting High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of additional paraprofessional training or relevant certifications is a plus Willingness to undergo background checks as required by educational institutions
Role Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support to students during instructional activities, both one-on-one and in small groups Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans and managing classroom routines Help monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions Support students with special needs by facilitating individualized educational programs under teacher guidance Prepare classroom materials and assist with organizational tasks to ensure smooth daily operations Aid with supervision in various settings such as playgrounds, cafeterias, and field trips This position offers the opportunity to grow your skills and gain rewarding experience working closely with educators and students.
