401(k) 401(k) matching Bonus based on performance Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off Full-Time Summer Assistant Teacher / Teacher Aide Immediate Openings Available | Immediate Start Date Available New Horizons Montessori Academy | Exton, PA 19341 Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Summer Position Through August 31, 2026, with Potential for Continued Employment New Horizons Montessori Academy is seeking caring and dependable Assistant Teachers and Teacher Aides to support classrooms serving children ages 6 months through kindergarten. This summer position runs through August 31, 2026, with the potential for continued employment during the academic year. Compensation Teacher Aide $16.50
  • 18.00 per hour Equivalent to approximately $18.20
  • 19.85 per hour due to paid breaks Assistant Teacher $18.00
  • 19.00 per hour Requires a minimum of 2,000 hours (approximately 2 years) of professional childcare experience Equivalent to approximately $19.85

05 per hour due to paid breaks Summer pay rates apply through August 31, 2026. Compensation for any continued employment will be determined based on the position offered for the academic year. Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, and hygiene routines as needed Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Experience in a preschool, daycare, Montessori, or early childhood setting preferred
CDA, ECE
coursework, or related education is a plus Reliable attendance and punctuality required Eligible to work in the United States Ability to obtain required clearances and health documentation, including FBI Fingerprinting, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check, Physical Examination, and TB Screening Benefits for Continued Employment Employees who continue employment beyond the summer become eligible for benefits after 90 days, including: Health Insurance 401(k) with 100% employer match up to 4% 50% tuition discount for enrolled children or grandchildren Baby Bonding Leave Program Up to approximately 13 paid days off annually through PTO accrual and Holiday Incentive PTO opportunities Apply Today Apply directly through Indeed with your resume attached.
