Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Kindergarten Aide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support classroom teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children in a dynamic setting, contributing to their growth and development every day. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math, and early childhood development activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or requiring behavior management strategies Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development, such as toddler care, Montessori methods, or preschool routines Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials for lessons and maintaining a clean learning environment Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support ongoing educational goals and behavioral expectations. Must be a practicing Catholic Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings Knowledge of special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism Ability to assist in lesson planning across subjects such as literacy education and math Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and students Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool or Montessori environments Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively and constructively in a classroom setting This paid position is ideal for passionate individuals eager to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives.
